An education program providing links between God's word and today's society.

Alpha is a ten-week course consisting of video presentations, music and small group discussions.

Alpha is a simple, personal course that is great for:

• Those wanting to investigate Christianity;
• For new Christians who want to learn more about the faith of the Church (Body of Christ);
• Those who feel they have 'never' really got going as a Christian;
• Newcomers to Church; and
• Those who want to learn more about their faith.

Meeting Date & Time: The next program will be timed to coincide with the Brisbane Invitation - during July-September 2007.
Venue for this year's course is the Algester Sports Club in Endiandra Street, Algester (just off Algester Road, near the State School).

Caring for the needs of those in our community.

A group of people who care for those in need in our community. members of the group are able to assist with:

• Transport - for doctors appointments, shopping trips etc;
• Babysitting when required;
• Grocery shopping for those house bound;
• Home cooked meals;
• Someone to talk to; and
• Other acts of Christian outreach and contact.

This ministry group comes under the responsibility of the Pastoral care Committee of Parish Council. New people to assist are always welcomed, as are those who are in need of this ministry.
